Guest A little late here, but thank you for this. I've been trying to fix not only ghosting issues, but all around picture issues as well. This was perfect for everything, especially the ghosting.

Guest These settings I have been using for what seems like ever, then suddenly we're watching a DVD (Pirates 3) and I notice that everyone's skin is yellowish Green.

Switching back and forth between these settings and standard (default) the skin turns back to normal color.

Basically, these settings are like GREEN. Super Green. Maybe I did something wrong, I checked everything, but this thing is too green.

I went back to other settings. These are also a little too dark for my tastes as well.

8mile13 (Guest) certain functions use a lot of power mostly the ones that help you to create a great picture, they will be shut down when using power saving.

8mile13 (Guest) the settings of the miller group is the best i found .an 8 out of 10.it can be only used for movies and series.backlight 2,contrast 85,brightness 54,colour 50,colour temperature warm 2,sharpness 30,white balance r (g)-5 r(g)-3 r(g)0 r(b)-2 r(b)0 r(b)+2,motion enhancer standard, everything else off.remember, when you watch in the evening dimm the lights in the room.when this lcd-tv is on for 1.5/2.5 hour you will see clouding(mura)on the upperleft/upperright side of the screen(in a fuly dark room you wil see it better, look it up on the internet)if you see more clouding than this go back to where you purchased this lcd.you also will see white flashes on the upperleft/upperright side.i watch mostly in screen format 14:9,automatic format is off.i covered the upperleft and upperright corner of the screen(no clouding and flashes in my house!).

bduffy10 (Guest) Haven't touched the TV for a while.....felt it was time to re-run the calibration and see where we were at. Same results, just felt that the Picture setting was a bit high (maybe...possibly a tiny bit of blooming above 90, but not sure). Dropped that to 90 in both settings. Outside of that, everything remains the same.

Guest thanks for sharing. No matter what I try, I can not get the picture on 46xbr4 look as good as it does on 40s2000. Not sure if the new panel w\ new board is the problem with my set now. it's blury, like it has an extra glass or something, colors are not what I"m used to (I've always had sony tvs), details are not even close to 40s2000...

very dissapointed

eric (Guest) These were pretty good, but I turned the gamma to off, when it was up on high it made the grays kinda blurry, I can't explain it very well, but I turned it to off and then it was fine.

Guest I have been using your settings for a while now and they have been great. However, your latest iteration has left my picture heavy on the greens.

palnews26@aol.com Looks great so far. What sharpness setting did you use?

I'm at 27 which I think could be a little high. Ill have to recheck with these settings. All other controls are set to off as are your's I imagin. Your testing is very helpful do to all the possible combinations of settings. Thanks for the effort.

bduffy10 Made a few changes to my color settings. I wanted a bit richer color...adding to the color setting wasn't a solution as my color is already pretty high...any higher and I'd start to get some bleeding or unnatural looks.

Switched to Warm2, with mostly the same WB settings, just bumped the blue gain up a few notches.
